Sabi Style has a unique approach to sustainable, eco-friendly interior design. Not only do we take every opportunity to beautify the space around you, we take every chance to enhance the world around you as well. This is never achieved at the expense of great design, but more so through the intelligent selection of sustainable materials and practices.

Wherever possible we look to reduce, reuse and recycle – using materials and furnishings that are low energy-consuming in their production and use, recycled or recyclable, organically grown, fairly traded, non-toxic and cruelty-free. These can range from LED lighting and water saving devices, to low or no-VOC paint products, natural floor coverings and vegetable-dyed leather.

In fact this care for the natural order of things is more than just the core of Sabi Style’s green design philosophy, it is an inherent component of Wabi Sabi – the inspiration behind Sabi Style. It is not a decorating style as such, more a mindset based on the Japanese art of finding beauty in the realities and imperfections of nature, and the importance of celebrating the marks that time, weather and loving use can leave behind. It is the idea that as you shape your space, the space, in turn, will shape you.

This depth of connection is exactly why Sabi Style engages with our clients to create a genuinely authentic space, where an individual’s interpretation of beauty and style is brought to life. After all, we see it as more than just the space around you being modified, it is your living room, your kitchen, your home, or your office.
